Silver Lake & Caples Lake
Directions
Directions: On Highway 50, 11 miles east of Placerville, take Sly Park Road south 5 miles to Jenkinson Lake. Cross the dams on Jenkinson Lake, which puts you on Mormon Emigrant Trail (Iron Mountain Road). Go 25 miles. Turn left onto State Highway 88. Go approximately 10 miles to Silver Lake. Caples Lake is 11 miles beyond that.
