• Four People, Four Dogs - 2006
On November 27, 2006, four people and four dogs were overdue from a hike in the American River Canyon.
They walked out to Salmon Falls Bridge, where they met a waiting SAR team (SAR 007). The CHP helicopter rescued a missing dog and flew it to the command post at Cool Fire Station, where SAR Canine Team members provided the dog with hospitality.
