• Uncle Tom's Cabin OHV SAR - 2010
Early on Friday, December 17, 2010, El Dorado County Sheriff's deputies organized an active search and rescue. Authorities were looking for a 53-year-old male and his disabled passenger, last seen in the Uncle Tom's Cabin area in a black Ford pickup truck. Neither had been seen or heard from since Thursday afternoon.
Subjects were located by OHV team members above Stumpy Meadows with their vehicle stuck in a ditch. Both were okay, just cold from spending the night. A big thanks to the OHV team!
